Campsite Glamping Wagons

All wagons are supplied with tea and coffee making facilities including electric/gas kettle, heating if needed but all wagons are insulated and keep very snug.

All linen for bedding, towels, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc are provided, with running water available in the 3 largest wagons. The Old Shepherds hut has a easy to carry water container. All wagons are connected to the campsites main electric circuit providing light and electric points.

The Wagons are positioned along the hedge line of the campsite, all with stunning views over the 40 acre field called the Worthies and fields behind the site. The whole campsite can be hired out for special parties, and private occasions which will include all 4 wagons, 2 extra electric points, parking and campsite facilities. Minimum of 2 nights.

Please be advised that all recyclables are to be taken home (cans, glass, bottles, cardboard etc). Food waste can be placed in bins provided. We only have a domestic waste collection every 2 weeks and this helps to keep the price down.

Shepherds Hut

A warm welcome awaits you when you arrive to stay in our original 19th Century Wiltshire Shepherds Hut. Hopefully memories of peace and comfort will stay with you. No TV, internet, just the natural sound of Farm and Country life. The Shepherds Hideaway is 9ft6” x 6ft x 7ft8” Creep up the steps, open the stable door and step back in time to a shepherds home (well more home comforts now).

Recently and very carefully restored and keeping many original features. Insulated throughout with a 5ft10” x 4ft10” double bed which through the day can be folded back to make a comfortable seating area. There is a electric point for lighting and for boiling the kettle for that afternoon tea.

Weavers Wagon

This wagon was pulled behind the old steam engines and has seen several rallies. There is a small double bed with storage underneath and single bed above. Small kitchen units, with a sink and pumped cold water, gas stove and small toilet room with a porta loo.

The selling point to this wagon is the log burner. I supply the burning logs for this. The seating has storage with a fold away table and chair. The stable door allows you to sit and gaze over the beautiful views overlooking the Worthies.

Whychurch Wagon

The newest Wagon to the fleet. Built last year on a old turn tabled farm trailer. Large windows which let you sit and look over the views and makes washing up more enjoyable.

It has a lovely double bed with single underneath and a curtain which can be pulled to give more privacy for those who need a afternoon chill. Small room with porta loo. The kitchen has plenty of storage with a fridge, electric oven with hob, sink with cold running water and nice work surfaces.

Worthies Wagon

The largest of the Glamping Wagons, literally a house on 4 wheels with everything you need for a cosy stay. Can sleep 4/5 people. Built several years ago on a old hay trailer with a few improvements added over the years. Look out over the campsite and wonderful views of the Worthies to the Historic Abbey and famous Abbey House while sitting and eating breakfast.

The seating area in the day can be changed into a comfortable double bed at night. There is a fully kitted out small kitchen area with work surface, gas oven with grill and 2 hobs, fridge, sink with hot and cold running water. There are plenty of electric points for all other appliances.

The small toilet room has a sink with hot and cold running water and small porta loo. Lay in bed and look out over the back field with the farms cattle grazing away. It is a double bed with a single bed underneath. There is plenty of storage and pine chest of drawers to store away any clothing for longer stays.
